Ice????????

I will be heading out today after class to check out some ice conditions for this weekend. Should be making some decent ice today with these cold temps.

Anyone heard of people fishing or had any ice reports on Maple or around that area?

I cruised by Maple last Thursday & Friday. It was almost completely iced over. I imagine with the cold temps that we've been having it would be pretty good now. The spot I was checking out was almost walkable/fishable.

Did either of you check ice last night at Maple? If so, how was it? How many inches? Itchin for some fishin......

There isn't as much down there as there was where you and I were last night.

Stopped out at maple last night, walked about ten yards out on the ice, there was some snow but im guessing it was somewhere in the range of two to three inches. Should have made some ice today I am guessing. Anyone know of anyone fishing around the area, I am dying to get out this weekend and am looking for any spot with enough ice.

Im gonna head out Sat.. A few small ponds with good Crappie action have about 4" so far.. I think at Maple you can work your way out to the rock piles where the T-dock used to be.. that might be a good start. Im gonna go check it out this weekend.

Tried Maple last night for a couple of hours. No luck, didnt even graph a fish. There was a good solid 4-5 inches of ice. Anyone else having any luck???

Nope. I have not been out since that first day... with any luck I will get out soon...
