when do you think the ice will be safe enough to drive a 3/4ton truck on the ice? and is any one ice fishing yet?

Sounds like the Bear Paw guys are finding out ice conditions for the rest of us. Wish I could be out there.

3/4 ton truck? I'm guessing near Christmas but there are other guys on here that would know the answer to that.

Usually we need some -0 nights before it starts to really put good ice down. Buddy has been doing some work on his road with the wheeler and was finding 3 inches of ice where he quit working because of a patch of open water. The 20 mph winds yesterday might have moved things around some. I think Hanson's X-Mass time guese is pretty close.
