What I had really wanted was some snow for the deer season. With that about over with, I can live without it. Right. This is going to present some intersting ice I think.

Many of the places I fish early on were just getting sheeted up good and now this. The inch predicted was but a dream by 6 this morning. The stuff is wet to boot and will probably sink the ice sheet and allow water to cover the ice. If we do not get some serious cold the resulting slush might be a hazard if people try walking on it. I would have rather seen 10 degrees with clear skies....this stuff came a week late to do me any good. And three weeks early to do the ice fishermen any good.
