Ice conditions, post here

Was at Cody lake today in the narrows where everybody has been, and there was about 4 inches everywhere I was at.

How was the fishing on Cody?

Went out to lake francis tonight. Ice was about 3-5 inches thick. Didn't stay long cause it was too (Contact US Regarding This Word) windy and didn't catch much. By this weekend there should be some real good ice.

Went out to Lake Washington this afternnon and there were two people out there fishing about 300 yards out from the westwood marine. I went out about 50 yards and found 3-4 inches of ice. Didnt get a chance to fish today though...one more final to go. I'd still venture with caution and with no snow....that ice is slick.

Great report Koolguie! Good information! I'm not sure if I'm brave enough yet but it's getting close to how thick I want it to be. I'm really itching to get out there!

Didn't catch anything on Cody, but was only there for about an hour. Quite a few bites but I couldn't get the little buggers through the hole. Oh well, next time.

I was out at cow bar today and the ice was 5". Saw other people out farther than I was they said it was the same. Didn't catch a thing

Out on Roberds today, solid 3.5"- 4". Ventured out 125 yards from access. No biters, marked a few, and had some sniffers. Making ice like crazy with these temps!!

I am thinking about going out to german and was wondering if anyone has been out there. If so whats the ice like??

I think theres about seven- eight inches and getting a few eyes as well as a few pike throwing the spear permanents are starting to pile up on the west end good luck

Was out yesterday afternoon, 7 - 8" of good ice.

Good, new auger really goes through ice.

Bad, vexilar battery is shot.

went on washington yesturyda and today this morning. really good ice, even saw some 4 wheelers and ppl are putting out their perminate ice houses. The fish aint biting it seems like. only 1 crappie and 1 sunnie. the crappie was a nice one little over 1 pound. but all in all its a good time, if your thinking about going i suggest you go. there's plenty of ice
