rush lake contest

ok.. I live up here but never fished this lake.. want to fish it for the contest... just to get me started.. what is the winter pattern for the eyes.... deep? ridges?shallow?weedlines? going to try and hit it as soon as safe ice appears but just want to figure out a few things about it

Hey Ethan,

Fish Rush like you would any other lake. Look for main lake points and fish off of the edges. Best bet is to get away from other anglers! Hopefully I will see ya on the ice sometime this winter!

I kinda thought that but I was just going to see if anyone else had ideas about that lake... kinda didn't want to go there not knowing anything about the lake.... thanks again and I will be out there either with a remington edition 500 polaris ho or else my purple(color changing) 97xc600... trust me... you will hear it before you see it.... I kinda like things loud......

yep matt.. plan on that one... winnie and burntside.... have no clue on how to fish trout through the ice but.... I can still go and have fun with the bottle bass........ well.... can that is... that is one fish I never have tried to fish throuhg the ice so it will be a well worth learning experience

Thats probably true. If I recall, during prefishing, it was Brian 6...Matt 0...or something like that. The most action I had that day was missing a muskie at the side of the boat...and it was on your line

I will be at winnie one way or another.. got a room reserved at drakes right now but i am trying to get ou icehouse done so I can pull that up there instead... nothing like waking up on the ice and not have to drive to go fishing
