OK OK enough with the easy predictions.

Anybody care to take a shot at the real issue on everyone's mind for the winter season?

(most are afraid to hazzard a guess at the answer and many are afraid to even ask the question,so here it is . . . . .)

"How soon will I NEED and EXTENSION?"

I'll go with Dec 10th. There should be a warm up or a lot of wind in between that time. Only a guess grin.gif

If I had to guess, it would be December 8th. Jiggle, looking forward to chasing some slabs again this year, definately will be making another late March/early April 4 day trip again. Hopefully the triangle won't get me like it did last year when Dr. Bob and I ran into some trailer trouble. I'll be out there as soon as its safe to go out.

keep in mind guys, that red freezes early. it is shallow, and after cold like this and wind, all it takes is for them temps to hold steady below freezing, and for the winds to calm to nothing. i feel my guess may be a couple of days late, but that is what i am sticking with. dec.2nd

I would like to see it get very, very calm and freeze solid for a couple days. It has been rough near shore when I have been out the last couple times before there is a significant snow cover.

My prediction is December 8th for total freeze up.
