Prior Lake

Not looking for your honey holes but I was wondering where would be a good place to ice fish on Prior? I would mainly be looking for the crappies and maybe a eye or two.

New to the area so I have no clue of the lake.

The only thing I know is the sand beach launch(i think that's what it is called, could be wrong)

I sarted fishing prior last year for the first time and I used the sand beach launch. If you're standing on the beach you will see an island out to the left. I fished straight east of the island in about 22ft and hit some crappies. Was only able to get them at night (suspended) this was also late season.

Try the small end of the lake...high bank across from captain jacks...10 to 16 feet...frist ice you dare walk on...could be good walleyes before the snowmoblie get out there
