No Good, Truck Stealin' Sons Of Biaatchas

Hey All, I hope my luck dosent come in 3's. Cant afford that.

Be on the lookout for a Charcoal Grey Jeep Wrangler ( Soft Top. 2001 ) With a Shark Shaped, SCUBA Dive Flag, bumper sticker. MN conservation plates MT 690.

Stolen from driveway in Piedmont overnight Wednesday.

Wife got me up at 6 asking where the Jeep was... Made for quite a long day between the 5-0, Insurance & Bankers.

Anyone have this happen before? How did it turn out?

Thanks. _CLoma

seems like there is a lot of things(outboards, boats, now cars,) that are getting stolen in this town mad.gif Could be a select group of individuals that are doing this. Wonder how much the law inforcement has actually done on these cases. My guess is not much.

happened to a freind of mine, his car turned up stripped down and had pink leopard print seat covers when he got it back. pain in the neck but insurance took care of everything. hope everything works out better in your case.

Really sorry to hear that cloma, I can only imagine the frustration and anger.... I'll definitely keep my eyes open, as i'm sure everyone else reading this will. Where do you live that it was stolen from? We live in the west end and have had a few windows busted out on our street, but nothing of this magnitude. Best of luck with the fiasco you've got to deal with. Hopefully it'll be settled in time for some theraputic ice fishing smirk.gif

Best thing that can happen now is that they total it on ya. You dont want it back after they beat it to hell and dump sugar in your gas! I hope your Insurance is up to date. Hopefully they total it and you can get a hardtop. confused.gif

Hi everyone, longtime reader, first time writer. I thought my first post would be something fish related,

but this topic brings back memories. My truck was stolen quite a while ago. I found it about a month or two later in a used car lot. The thieves had taken the body off my truck and had put it on to another frame, a wrecked truck for which they had a title. My insurance had already paid so it didn’t mean much other than seeing someone pay for the theft. By the way, the last I ever herd of the incident was that the thief was fighting the insurance company to get the truck back because the police hadn’t obtained a proper search warrant, when they went to the car lot and impounded the stolen truck.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I just got my outboard stolen in October. I know the feeling. I made out on the insurance better than I thought I would though. Hope you have the same luck. Good luck, Junky...........

Thanks for the positivity. A day later it seems like worse could happen, at least its only a property crime. And sorry for the quasi-swear title.

BTW: The Police said its a RARE day that a car is not stolen in the Twin Ports.

My new signature:

- Good Fishing & hope for a total loss.

Sorry to hear about your stolen jeep, that stinks. Usually these things get taken for a joy ride then left. I'd imagine a 4x4 might end up in the woods somewhere. Hope it all works out for ya.
