Where is the best place to get on to minnetonka in the winter, more specifically, wayzata bay? Thank you.

East of the wayzata strip mall, after the curves and RR tracks there is a city owned parcel you can drive out on. no place to park and walk. Approx 200 yards further east there is a landing you can walk out of. Limited parallel parking on the north sid of the road. I would not drive out at this location as it is near a marina and unsafe imo to drive out.
