Just wondering if this was the forum to talk about Faribault area lakes? If it is, what are some good lakes to ice fish in the area for crappies and walleye's? Thinking about fishing down in that area a little more this year. Thanks for the input.

ice. hopefully some one from that area will help you out. from talking to a freind that lives on roberds lake, and others; roberds can be a good crappie and walleye lake. so is french. a check with the area bait shops can put you in touch with what lakes in that area is hot and for what spiecies .( such as faribault bait and tackle) from what i get told, many of the bites are time specific.( morning, evenings). hope this helps! del

Iceman,

When considering Faribault area lakes, do not overlook Shields and Mazaska. Both can be extremely active and consistant. Both also have multiple access points to the lakes and you'll find the other anglers are considerate and sometimes will share information on times, depths and what fish are biting.
