Just a note on the mount, I made this in memory of my father who loved to ice fish. He would finish the farm work and reward us by taking us ice fishing. After mom and dad retired and went south for the winters he always wanted a report on the fishing. Ladys and Gentleman remember the good times with your loved ones as time is to short.

RANGERED,

Nice to see someone from my stomping grounds. I love pheasant hunting out there and remember many trips to that area in my youth. My mom is from Appleton and my dad is from Danvers smile.gif

Sorry for the late reply, the mount went about 450 with the oak table I made. As far as fishing holes I fish mainly Camp as I was raised on the lake. This lake will give you eyes, pike, bass, crappie, sunnies. What else is there.

I was out with my son-in -law on tuesday evening. we were slow trowling for some eyes and landed a 39" pike (we guested at 14 -16 lbs), I wish we had a camera before we put her back in. a week ago i kept 3 5lb pike for pickling. The pike this time of year make great pickled eating. I fish for the fun and relaxation, generaly on the lake 2-3 times a week for only 2-3hours at a time. I watch my depth, staying just outside of the weeds. Good luck and do it to relax.
