Off Topic Dog Questions????

A relative gave us a 6 month old puppy...Lab/German Shepard/and I think a Spaniel mix.

Not expecting her(the dog) to be a hunting dog, but just want a good house pet. We have two small children, too. I've been reading a lot about obedience training on the Internet...

Anyone know of any good places I could take her to get training that doesn't cost too much (East Metro Preffered).

I've been trying...but never had a dog myself before...so I'm kind of clueless on what to do.

Personally I would recommend Stillwater vet, if you gave them a call I'm sure they could tell you about some obedience classes that you could take. Don't give up on the hunting too quick, I've seen guys hunt with Pitbulls before.
