I'm heading out on Waconia tomorrow, and just wondering if anyone has been out recently and can float me some tips. This will be my first time out there this fall, plus my first time fishing skis!

I haven't been out there for a few weeks but now is the time you want to hit the edges of the many reefs out there with slow moving baits . Jerkbaits and cranks are what you will want to throw. And don't rule out plastics like a bulldawg either.

They are on the deep edges, so what ever you have that can hang in the strike zone the longest, will be your best bet. Anything to report Danno? If so drop me a line via e-mail. thanks

Hey Sarge,

Was out last Sat and didn't see anything but didn't have alot of daylight. Had a couple fish up on the surface on 10/23. Water temps last week were near 50 but I'm sure have dropped since. I'd start with the sub-surface slow movers but something like a Jackpot on top worked slow may bring a pleasant surprise.

Well...I fished from 10:30 until 4:30 Sat. and had absolutely NO action what-so-ever. Tried all different spots on the lake, different depths, lures everything we could think of to no avail. Water temps were around 41. Nice to be out, but obviously would have been nicer to hook into a big mama. There were about 5 other boats out as well and I didn't see or talk to anybody that was having any luck either.
