Rifled sights vs scope

Can anyone recommend one vs the other for a slug gun. I am hunting at the edge of some woods and don't anticipate a real long shot.

I have a mossberg trophy slugster with a rifled barrel and rifled sights on it. But the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount so I decided to put see through mounts on it so I could use either one. It works great.

I would get the rifled sights the longest possible shot with a slug is maybe 125 yards maybe. you also have to rember that you will probally get shots at running deer and even with the see thru rings on the bottom you might forget to look and finding a running deer in a scope isnt fun. I can shoot about a 4 inch group at 50 yards with my slug gun ( remington 1100 smooth bore barrel and only a front bead sight) you should be just fine with rifle sights since a slugs range in rather limited.
