Ordered several Prim maps for my area for bird hunting and couldn't wait to get out the next weekend and check out some of the numerous spots available that I didn't know existed.From my outing I found the only places you could count on being open to public hunting were the WMA and WPA areas wich I already had on other maps.Those areas in green (state forest areas) were mostly posted,heck one spot turned out to be a open feild with a inhabited house on it!Anyone else out there finding the same to be true in the areas they hunt?

I have used prim maps to locate state forest land in south eastern Minnesota and found them quite accurate. I have seen areas that were posted after a land exchange, but there was usually a map to the new public land posted on the old access. I just wish they would start using lattitude and longitude instead of range and township so I could use my GPS to more accuratly find the boundaries.

I too have had great sucess with PRIM's. I have hunted a few of my maps down to the creases, and they are pretty dead on every time. As stated above, a few spots here and there lost to land exchange, but some opened up along the way as well.

I found the same thing. I could not find two locations near each other on the Faribault map. The roads didn't seem to be there for one and posted signs prevailed on one.
