maybe the last open water walleye update

Walleys have been biting in Walker bay in 80-100'!!! Jig/minnow. It needs to be calm to get down that deep but I heard the news went out and caught 3 in about an hour. Nice fish I don't like fishing that deep but I had to check it out. Now, bring on the deer.

Thanks leech. Just helped my son move to Walker 2 weeks ago. I think he may be missing home a bit. I got the call last nite "hey pops - its going to be a beutifull weekend. Why don't you bring the boat up & we can go fishing?" Needless to say I'm heading up early Sat. morning.

Need all the help I can get as I've not fished Walker side of lake. We'll be mostly throwing & trolling for skies but may have to try some deep jigging if wind allows.
