Gaiters?

I'm headed out on an Elk hunting trip and am expecting to hit some snow. I was hoping someone could tell me if any of these Gaiters are good?

Also, I saw these Yaktrax foot traction devices. Do they work well?

I have a pair of the outdoor design "frost" gaitors and have used them for 6-7 years and they are still in great shape. Very well made and almost bomb proof. Easily adjusts to any boot from a smaller hunting boot to a large pack boot. Money well spent
