River Condtions

The river has muddied up, logs and debris are coming down river. Current is strong making fishing next to impossible for up to 2 oz of weight. Weather permitting, fishing may continue in one weeks time. Water temperature was 45 degrees on our last trip out. No exceptional rainfall is forecasted, so looking on the optomistic side, fishing usually stays good down to 35 degrees for water temps.

We have deer hunters coming in Thursday that also fish during their stay. We will have reports for the up-coming weekend.

If we have anglers planning to fish above the Little Fork, out of Pelland I will update on our website.

I am all out of soft water fishing time for the year, but it sure is nice to know what is going on up there. As all ways - you lets us know. Its much appreciated!

Just wondering if the conditions have changed any from the other day?? I was planning on coming up on Friday, but if the conditions aren't going to be favorable I'd like to know so I may cancel my hotel reservation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The Little Fork level is just starting to recede today after a 5' raise in level. Usually you could plan a week before the river would be cleared enough for fishing. Check the water levels from links posted on our website. You could fish Lake of the Woods, where you can find clearer water. Not sure on the debris level, contact the resort you are staying at.
