Deer Drives vs. Stand for BIG deer

What do you think is the best way to shoot truly big deer? I think that sitting on stand you have a better chance to shoot a big buck. usually they are not as highly on alert as when they are being pushed and it seems to me that 9 out of 10 times the big boys either double back or don't run straight. And I suppose that living for a long time they would learn to know when they were being pushed. But I want to hear all of your thoughts on this.

On Friday and Saturday nights I sit in front of a computer from 4 - 12am at work. I cruise around on here a lot. And yes they are great topics...man your getting me even more excited.
