St. Paul Lakes Reports ~

The lakes down in this neck of the woods have been awful quiet the last couple of weeks.

The northern were going mad in the shallows up until about 10 days ago, caught a 32 incher (and fat!) from a dock & lots of smaller guys every trip out. When that let up, it forced me back into the boat. Was out in Arden Hills yesteday before the hurrican fora couple of hours, not much, a perch & a sunny both in deep water, lots of hits that felt like perch & a couple real hits that I missed. Looked for bass from one foot to thirty, never saw one, nor a walleye.

Hoping to get back out Sunday morning if the weather stays decent.

Ive had about the same luck. The lakes were not really giving anything up, so went to the St. Croix. Had one good trip then two bad ones. The boat will probably be put away for the winter this weekend.
