Ice Fishing Hot Spots on Big Sandy?

Just wanted to ask if the hot spots in the summer are the same as in the winter, or does it change. Should I be looking for action around the sunken island, and drop offs? Or does the fishing change on Big Sandy during the winter months? I assume waxies and Crappie minnows work well for panfish/crappies, and fatheads and shinners work best for Walleyes, and suckers or smelt for northern. Am I correct? I just bought 2 dozen Angel eye jr lures hoping to catch some crappies or Walleyes with them, has anyone else had any luck useing them?

I know Bell Horn Bay is always good for both Crappies and Walldogs...
