I'm going to be up in the area this weekend and try fishing Miltona. Does anyone have any tips for whats bitting and on what and where on the lake. Any help would be great!!!!!

RangerDog...it's taking the big waters a while to warm up. Try the northeast bays for more active fish. Crappies have been hot/cold in areas of the lake. Also check the inlets on the north end for some shallow evening walleyes. Or look for them deep off the first drop near the creeks and inlets. Think small, slow presentations...almost like a late fall pattern, and don't be afraid to try deep...really deep! (Fall bites on Miltona will run 50-60 feet deep!)....Look for the big bluegills in the emerging pencil reeds.

Good luck, and let us know how you did!
