does ne one have ne reports from maple lake lately i was thinking of heading up there sunday to try it.

Walleye_guy, my brotherinlaw was on the So. side of Maple last fri. He went though a bucket of minnows in about three hours. nothing big but quite a variety of fish. Lots of people. He was fishing from shore.

Hey,

I went to Maple Thursday night. There were hundreds of crappies stacked up in that little bay. I caught so many of them.
Only one problem... They were all smaller than 5 inches... no joke.
Smallest crappies I've ever caught.

I did manage one trophy 7 incher though.

Not the greatest. guess a guy said they have been biting for over a month. Big ones were caught early.
