bob can't stand the ridicule or what? one should always let the duck get within a 1/4 mile before shooting!

That was bad enough, but when he didn't want to clean too, well that put him in bad standing with the guide that brought him along.

Thank you. And also happy b-day to H'ster. Do I need to bring my colorpoint and ice fishing gear when I come home on the 9,10,11th?

Mill pond has ice on it so we could maybe get some early season action there. Was thinking about fishing the Tahoe reef.

I wonder just how many fish are going to be able to get into "the pond" since the water levels are at such drastically low levels. Doc, K2, and I finished the day last Fri. out on the point at the mouth of the pond, and it was mere inches deep across the mouth itself and was covered in thick heavy black grass.
Can 11-14" crappies swim through 6 inches of H2O?
Besides, after this weeks temps, I'm thinkin 8th street or LipRippers' wall area.
Sharpen your hooks and lets get ready.

Thief Lake is dumping a lot of water so the water is back on the rise.

we should have enough ice becuz i think all the ducks froze in the water this morning. nailz and i only seen seven ducks all morning in the corn field, only one dumb enough to fly close enough to kill. geese were all high and headed south with the tail wind. still have yet to find a duck with a curly tail.

think i'll try the river after school tonight, still have some minnows to drown.
