Looking for a good crappie lake in PR area to take my kids to. Had some luck on Itasca
a few years back. Does it still produces nice crappies this time of year?

What time of the year are you looking to fish. I fish different lakes depending on the time of year. If you are looking for some winter fishing spots, I like 3rd Crow Wing for crappies. Let me know if you are looking for some ice fishing action or are you planning ahead for the open water.ScottS

There starting to hit over on Big Pine. Bigger crappies than UR.also not near the crowd either.

Not much to report, with all the snow, I have not fished the Park Rapids area much. It was to hard to get around on the lakes. With that I have been fishing other areas and other states. Sorry, no not spots for those slabs to report. If I were going out though, 3rd crow wing would be the first place I try.ScottS
