Storm damage

There was a fair amount of storm damage on the lake and surrounding areas. Check out the Lake Vermilion Cabin owners Facebook page for more details. Also, areas without power. Sounds like most of the damage was from Oak Narrows towards Tower.

Thanks for letting people know. I got a notification that power was out for a while but didn't think much of it.

 

I was pulling two kids around on a tube Sunday and saw you and others working on getting your lift into the lake. Hopefully it all went well!

Ludlows and Muskego both hit hard.  The Dayton place had a lot of big trees down, not sure of structural damage.  Some say a tornado skipped thru that area.  Looking at the destruction, I could believe it.  I feel bad for those impacted by this storm.

@chaffmj, never mind.  I decided to take a cruise on up there today.  Had a couple popple tops in the driveway but nothing I couldn’t clear.  Nice to see the area again.

You still have your trailer and place up there? Maybe you should do some summer rentals of it to help pay the taxes and up keep on it?

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. Glad your place was ok. Lake Country power said they had 20 poles toppled in one area!

i think he moved it down south of remer..........closer to his recliner by big rice lake!!!!!!!!

Funny, my wife and I drove by Big Rice on our way to Grand Rapids. I pointed to the launch and said, somewhere there's an old rotting couch in there, two clowns on the forum keep joking each other about pissing on. She said gross! Cuz that's what guys talk about on forums!

Nope, not there anymore.  Just don’t get up there enough anymore.  Sadly.

 

Taxes are cheap enough to not really worry about and still have it.
