Metro Area Panfish

Bringing my daughter down to St. Paul for a basketball camp on Thursday and plan on killing time by chasing some panfish.  I've never fished any of the Metro lakes so I'm coming in blind.  Thoughts on a few metro lakes to target for some nice panfish or maybe even some multi-species fun? Thanks in advance.

Obviously they get hit hard, lot's of stunted fish. Turtle in Shoreview has some decent panfish but you'll have to sort to get keepers. Bass are big in there too, it might still be catch and release hence the size of the fish

If you’re not worried about size, literally every lake in the cities has fishable numbers of sunfish. 
 

Otherwise, the Mississippi River offers a lot public shoreline to fish from. Bigger rough fish are way more fun to catch than potato chip sunnies.
