Found 4”-5” inches near shore but as little as 3” just 300’ from shore. Tiny perch and one hammer handle was all I managed.

Exact same ice conditions for me but ice was only good to about 200 yards at the most caught tons of perch but all were small we were very limited and not able to move much because of ice conditions.
