Mercury Optimax oil reserve warning and repair needed

Good Morning Friends:

 

I had a warning light come on yesterday for my 2000 Mercury Optimax 150 surrounding the reserve oil in the engine. Apparently it is leaking a bit and I found a new one at Frank's Marine in Orr. Problem is......finding someone to repair it soon as all of the larger marinas seem totally booked for repairs.

 

Per You Tube, it doesn't look like a major job, but I am not a real handy guy. 

 

Any suggestions on who I could call?

I've had two different problems with this.  One, The sensor on the cap failed so just replaced the sensor, I just added oil, two, the level of oil in the reserved dropped below the sensor

Not sure what this means?  "I just added oil, two, the level of oil in the reserved dropped below the sensor"  

Dropped below during use or right after you filled it?  Or are you just saying if you don't watch the oil level, it will drop below the sensor and the alarm will go off, as it should?
