Cedar lake by new praugue

Has anyone tried cedar lake by new praugue. Just wondering if its any good. Or if any lakes in the lesuer area are any good

It can be good but some days it take searching to find active fish.

It's got an ample amount of 8.5" to 9.5" Crappies. Once in awhile you might catch one over 10". Bluegill are nearly wiped out of lake from years of over harvest (especially this spring) on a metro lake and an over abundance of small crappies. Good place to take a kid so they can feel the tug on the line but don't expect monsters.

 

The small crappies in the winter are good eating though and some over 9" need to be harvested. If you catch a big gill (over 8.5") please let them go for now as population needs to recovers or better yet let all the sunnies go.
