How is the ice on lake Hubert for walking travel? Planing a trip up this weekend.

I don’t know - but my guess is you’ll be able to walk it.  We’ve had zero degree weather in the Brainerd area now for a couple nights and most lakes have already been capped over with no real snow amounts.  People are walking on quite a few already.  A buddy was in the Aitkin area last weekend and had 5.  
 

Check as you go of course but plan to fish.

People have been walking out on North long and Round lake for the last two weekends.  It's getting there.

Thanks @leech I just want to make sure that it won’t be a waisted trip and I’ll be able to walk out, it’s a long drive and a lot of gas.
