How do the blueberries look this years?

Thanks in advance.

A week ago I was cutting down trees around my place. I hadn't noticed even the hint of a blueberry up to that point, and then looked around and saw blueberries everywhere that I looked...including places where I didn't know that bushes had crept. So yeah, it seems that the recent rains have jumpstarted the blueberries at least by me.

Was up on the North shore last weekend and there was about half starting to turn purple.  Probably be a good weekend to pick next weekend.

Small and sparse in my experience this week.  A lot of green ones though so maybe with the recent rains we will get a decent crop.

Saw some cars on olson road (between 24 and the crescent).   I presume they were picking blueberries

I saw the cars too.  "picking" and "finding" can be similar to "fishing" and "catching".  ?

We've been doing okay.

2 hours, 28 cups.

Went out the next day, same results.

Deer flies/horse flies/skeets, are out in full force.

8-10 year old clearcuts, that's the only hint your gettin out of me. LOL

Very nice Jim.  My hopes are up now.  My daughter from Colorado is coming this weekend and she makes a killer blueberry pie.  We can handle the bugs if the berries are out there!

Appears they are done...
