Coming to northern Minnesota in few weeks. Buying a couples 14 day license for wife and I. My daughter is 17 but turns 18 while we are there. Question is Can we buy her the 16-17 year old $5 license or do we need to upgrade to an adult license?

You can call the DNR to make sure but I'm pretty sure she would need the adult license once she turns 18.  I could be wrong though, so calling would be best.

How would a two week license "last the remainder of the year"  Are you sure you made it clear that its a non resident situation ?

I believe the $5.00 license for 16 and 17 yr olds is for the year and the state does not make you purchase the $5.00 license then make you buy the adult license after you turn 18 in the same year.  Although sometimes you wonder about our state rules.
