Today on West Rush, in a smaller bay. I Stepped on a unseen drain hole or enlarged old fishing hole today. 1 leg went all the way thru. Luckily other leg and i stayed on top. I was traveling where I knew it was only 4-5 feet deep. All ice I drilled was 13-16 inches but soft. Hot shower and clean undies never felt so good. lol.  Be safe everyone!

Glad you are ok and that you got out. I hung my ice gear up a while ago.

I haven’t admitted I’ve hung up my ice gear yet but in reality I probably have.  Weekends are for work these days. ?

Ouch, last time I did that @Joe took a sled to bridge the gap and told me " That's why I went to college".

 

I went home changed and came back.

 

Oh yeah, he hears "and that's why you went to college" quite often these days. ?
