I know this is fishing Minnesota but tried something new. Was very interesting and learned a lot quickly. ice conditions restricted where we could get to but we had 5 bites 2 fish. was fun fighting them big steelhead.

Always looks like a blast with those jawjackers or auto fisherman.  Fighting those big Browns and steelhead on a short rod through a hole in the ice on light line would be fun.

Always dreamed of getting out and exploring other great lakes. Got to fish Lake Superior a few times out of Duluth and it changes my ice fishing life!

Heard browns fight but nothing like steelhead. took probably 20 min to get mine in.

its a fun trip. i'd suggest going with a guide the first trip. I've gone out with the one who's last name starts with an H. He was pretty darn awesome.Then you can replicate the tactics. I've gone over there 3 times. Caught fish every time. It's AMAZING that in a large metropolitan area like that there are virtually no fishermen on the ice when it's there.
