Brainerd jaycees ice fishing contest

This will be my second year going.  All fish need to be released alive.  Its pretty deep water.  Has barotrauma popped up at all with fish being released at the contest?

I have relatives that go almost every year.  Don't expect to catch any fish.  Most people just go out there to party and drink.

Not sure if the survival rate of released fish.   Luk adt few years tullabies have made up a substantial number of fish registered.   Will be there again this year.

Tullibees aren’t as susceptible to barotrauma as walleye, pike and perch.  My suspicion is that’s one reason they moved the site to deeper water.
