generally speaking how deep of water is the weed edge out there on that point?? i'm thinking looking at the lake map and Pauls road on the north side of that point. depends on if there is anyone else around that area!!??

There are some scattered spear shacks along that area.  Nothing like the group at the Bible camp though.  The two major clusters of houses are over crappie holes, otherwise people are pretty spread out.  At least that was the story 2 weeks ago.

 well them spear shacks will give me a bit of an advantage figuring out/ finding a depth!!!!!!

Was just thinking about him yesterday? He seemed to be pretty excited last year to get things going there. May be his plan as GM was just to aggressive for the resort owner?

He did have LOTS he wanted to do there.  We stayed a weekend last year and heard about some plans.  Never know why changes happen though unless it comes from the horses mouth.

Just looked at their page not much on Ice fishing at all. Just the statement below which sounds like it was from Paul's Ice fishing start up.  No reports, no rates nothing else?

Lake Koronis is Minnesota’s gem in the rough, at just over 3,000 acres it is one of the largest lakes in the western part of Minnesota. It reaches a maximum depth of 132 feet and has three islands in the main basin. Anglers primarily target Walleyes, Crappie and Sunfish during the winter season.  For  look to the edge of the weed lines in the 10-15 foot range for sunfish.  Crappies can be found throughout the lake suspended in deeper waters.  Walleye can typically be found along the edge of, and just off of the first and second break in the 20-30 foot range.

well.........i kinda know the owner a bit. just through some of the editorials he writes in the st cloud times now and then.......... i think he's hard to work for.
