Hello. I am trying to make this post strictly about these 2 lakes. Please only comment on ice thickness. Thank you.

Linwood lake from the access out is a minimum of 5" until you get out about 100 yards. Then the ice measures 4". Closest to shore froze first and is white ice. Once you get to the nice clear it's thinner. It froze later but is clear awesome ice measuring 4".

Forest Lake #1. North side of lake was 4" of clear nice ice. It froze really good over a week ago. Just got back at 5pm. 12/13. ????

Ok. Was out on Linwood this am. Found 7" consistently. Lots of people out and everyone said the same thing. 6.5 to 7".

Forest Lake #1. Found the same thickness. Mainly 6.5. Some 7". Clesr perfect ice though. ?????

Went out yesterday morning on Forest Lake/lake one, had 13" of ice out deep where there was only 6" not long ago.  Very little snow on the ice in that area, definitely need cleats for walking around.  Fishing was slow, only managed a few panfish.

I forgot to post my ice report from last Sunday for Linwood lake. There was 15" everywhere I drilled. Trucks beginning to drive finally including my F150. Happy fishing!

I might be on forest lake 1 tomorrow morning for the first time. I usually set up in the middle/ northern part of the lake. Good for an f150, understanding it's never safe? Thank you.
