8 am on Early Goose Opener in central MN and only 7 ducks seen so far.  Surprised to only hear 3 volleys of shots; 2 distant and a mile or so away.  Oh, there’s the 4th st the mile away one again, so they got two flocks in this morning.  Maybe something comes my way....

Buddy on LOW says it’s been quiet this morning for him too.

Somebody’s getting them!  Is it you?

Good for your son!

We got beat by a half hour for permission on a field for today but we have it for tomorrow.  Hopefully they come back but I won’t hold my breath.

Youth opener was fun no ducks or geese were harmed but they kids had fun and shot some shells. It’s always fun to watch the kids blast at ducks and geese.

Still no geese for me yet.  We just couldn’t talk any in close enough today.

  • Thanks 1
