Gifford/depot Lake In Scott County (near Carver/chaska)

I recently discovered that this lake is a thing. Has anyone fished it on here in recent years. I found posts from the forum from about a decade ago, but nothing recent. A survey of the Minnesota River floodplains done by like the DNR in like 2007 or 2009 claimed there was like 35 species sampled in the lake. But the DNR lake finder only lists these: black bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, brown bullhead, hybrid sunfish, northern pike, white crappie, yellow bullhead, yellow perch, bigmouth buffalo, common carp, and freshwater drum. I had read in the old forum posts that there are 2-5 pound Pike in it, and I do like fishing for pike, I just wanted to see if there were other nice species in the lake.
