Camping On Rainy Lake East

My wife and 2 Labs are boat camping on the east side of the Brule Narrows this week. We have been here dozens of times, but with late spring, I am wondering what patterns are working for the smallies and walleyes.

Had some luck fishing walleyes in 10-20 ft in current using jigs tipped with chubs a week ago. Water was pretty cold still...upper 50s on the main lake.

Small male smallies were on beds end of last week.  Should have big girls on the beds by now.  

 

Best day was Friday 80+ fish, but mostly smaller fish.
