Old Aluminum Pontoon Boat, No Title

Is anyone interested in an aluminum pontoon boat to make a swim raft or floating dock?? Or does anyone know what it would be worth for scrap aluminum? I need to get rid of it and didn't get a title with it. I'll get a couple pics of it. Thanks.

Call your local scrap yard to see what the price is per pound.  Or see if anyone wants to buy the tubes for replacement on their own.

 

Your idea about a swim platform or floating dock is a good one.  There’s a guy who uses a big 25 footer for a floating dock up river from me and it seems to work fantastic for him.  He gets it in early and takes it out late.  Never has a problem with water levels or the late summer weed rafts.

 

Heck, the more I type, the more I think I should get it!

I've saw guys using them as big duck boats or blinds.

True!  But I believe they have to be registered and current due to size.  The “duck boat” exception doesn’t apply.

Hoarding issue...  Hmm.... Never thought of it that way..  but my driveway has barely enough room to park my car and truck because of the 4 boats and 2 fish houses. 3 are boats that I use regularly and a ski boat that I'm going to be selling soon. My garage barely has room to walk because of 3 portables, 3 outboards, 4 trolling motors, 4 power augers as well as most of my (75-80) rod/reel combos and boxes and crates of boating/fishing accessories. My spare bedroom is filled with thousands of artificial lures neatly organized in 50+ clear plastic trays and around a dozen disassembled baitcasters that need repairs. My house has hundreds of lures and dozens of rods hanging and leaning. My dock, lift and Lakeshore is full of boats, the boathouse is full of tackle and rods and another outboard...  Hmm... Thought you were on to something leech, but everything that is unrelated to what I love goes away quickly.... Does anyone have any fishing stuff they wanna sell??!!?
