Where Will You Be On Opener?

Just curious as to who's fishing the bigger lakes or what area you will be fishing in.

I'm considering a river run in southern MN with a couple friends..

I will be guiding mostly on Red lake and lake Bemidji. On opener ill be out taking my dad on Big Birch Lake.

I'll likely be trolling rapalas after dark somewhere around St Cloud unless I decide to run west a bit further and target a smaller, shallower lake during the day.

I had a secret lake in mind, but it’s a bit of a drive. So I’ll probably end up on the croix, like always.

Wherever the wind blows me, or doesn’t blow really bad.  I don’t have any concrete plans right now so I’ll likely be half a state away from you, Rick, but on the same waterbody.  Unless you’re referring to another southern river than the Miss.

 

Its just too darn close for me to ignore.

Bowstring weather permitting. Maybe start Monday. If here for the weekend will be on the creek somewhere. Shore or yak. Heading to SD this Friday to look for some eyes over the weekend.

Lake of the Woods all week.

I will be on the Whitefish Chain chasing fish.  Concerned that water maybe too cold for a good opener, but have to give it a shot.  Backup plan is to find some warmer water and chase Crappie's.
