Does anyone know where I can find out which lakes smothered out in the southern Minnesota areas? I have looked on the DNR website and can't seem to find out any information there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

I know the DNR lists lakes that are freezing out under "liberalized fishing opportunities" and states when the liberalized fishing is allowed. After they take that posting down the only way I know of is to call the fisheries manager who manages the lakes you're interested in.

My suggestion is to try and reach out to get a response on a different social media platform. I've had luck getting a response when I contacted the DNR on Twitter.

I've had more than 1 email conversation with the biologist who's in charge of the lake we are on. For him it's just 1st name.last name.@state.mn.us for his email address. Usually get a pretty quick reply too
