Has anybody been around Big Stone lake to check on open water conditions?  Looking forward to some open water walleye fishing.

There is a fair amount of open water but not ice free as  of yet. Some locals are predicting around the 20th or so I guess the weather will dictate that.  I'm also excited to get out there soon. MWC has a tournament there April 26-27 so should be interesting.

Probably mid next week.  Sounds like people fishing from shore are catching fish.
