Handheld Gps Units?

What are the good handheld GPS units out there these days that use the lakemaster/Navionics  chips?

 

I currently own the old h20c but it may have finally died after a decade of abuse lol

That hand held is an awesome model, I still have mine and people often ask me if I'd be willing to sell it.  Good luck replacing it Majestic.

All I can say is Garmin. I've been many places where a phone won't work. GPS works everywhere. That being said I always carry a compass for backup. I bought Garmin's chip since I converted to that brand for my depthfinder/gps combo.

I use a 10" Samsung Tab A tablet. Accurcy 3 to 5 ft. including 40 miles off shore in the Gulf of Mexico. When Samsung puts the Broadcom BCM4775 GPS chip set in a tablet Ill get one. 10" accurcy anywhere. The Galaxey 9 smartphone with the chip set most likely available within a month but at $1,000 + dont really need one.

Got it fixed, hopefully it lasts another decade or two!!  After doing research I would have definitely went with a Garmin, a phone and app would have been my last resort.

if you strictly want it for ice fishing, i would go to the Hbird Helix route, excellent ice fishing/summer unit with mapping; but if you wanted to use it for hunting as well, its hard to beat the garmins, hell even when the H2O was out, I still favored the garmin.
