I’ve been thinking about hitting this lake in the yak too. Maybe we will have to link up and figure out how to get on it. From my understanding, you can put a kayak in on any of lakes within the St. John’s campus. I am curious to know if anyone knows if there is decent bass fishing on Stump lake?

I never did try. havnt had the yak out on any of those lakes yet

I can't help you with access, but I have a friend that regularly fishes stump and sagatagan--apparently the lakes are infested with norts and that's what he targets.  Lots of 2-5 pounders.

(I suspect if you're targeting bass you'll end up catching mostly norts.)
