I'm camping out on echo lake next week. Any tips or fishing info would be great.

A small shallow lake.  Northerns dominate the weedy areas.  Crappies and Walleye are generally off the points and can be had by slow trolling lindy rigs(minnow or leech) or fast trolling crank baits.  When fish are scattered fast trolling is best to cover more water.  Fishing is generally good.

camped there many times but never took my boat on the lake. does anyone have any insight for the boulders and rocks if I did take my boat out there? (I have a counsole 17 ft deep wide lund with a merc), I know its shallow but anyone recommend NOT going on this lake because of any rocks?
