Best spring crappie baits

pink and white usually rocks as does white.   yesturday I took the grandkids out and the gulp alive emerald shiner made lots of smiles.

my go to is always a 2.5" gulp alive minnow in any of the variations of black shad, emerald shiner, or the smelt, but usually it is a black shad.  My next is tubes in various colors but pink and blaze orange do well for me!!

I agree on white/pink.  A few lakes in western metro seem to like black/chartreuse tubes.  Fun times!

Have to agree with the pink/white combo for tube color. It been my most consistent color combo for many yrs. Some lakes and even some days fish different. Today the big crapps wouldnt even look at the pink. It was all 2.5 in purple/silver on a 1/16 silver ball head
