Lake Winsted or nearby lakes??

Anyone been out lately? Moved to Lester Prairie last fall so dont know the good Ice Fishing lakes in the area yet

Was on Winsted a couple weeks ago.  There was a nice cluster of houses, but not much going on in terms of a bite. I hopped around. Very shallow lake. Found a few perch, but even they were challenging to find. Not much for structure to key on. You either fish the deeper hole which is only about 10 ft at the deepest and the rest of the area fairly flat so it takes a few hundred yards to make it from 8 ft back down to 1 in every direction.

I fish these shallow pan shaped pot holes a few times a year and it's feast or famine. Now it's time to go back to lakes with the classic stuff. Need to hit a lake with a deep hole for some dinks crappies to redeem myself LOL.
